"I used the Mattone Barile form with a ceramic blanket. Without the form it would be impossible to get the exact dome shape for this pizza oven. The ridges on the foam form guide each mortar and firebrick placement. The trick is letting each row set-up before placing the weight of the next row on top. Otherwise the mortar tries to slide out from under the firebricks. Take your time and work carefully to make a professional look on a great pizza oven."
