Woodfired Pizza Oven

After traveling to Italy and eating the amazing thin crust pizza there my wife and I wanted a way to recreate the taste at home. We decided to build a refractory cement pizza oven and ordered the Cortile Barile from Brickwood Ovens. They were extremely helpful during the construction process and ensured that our oven would be perfect. Now that the oven is up and running, friends and family are always over. The pizzas are amazing and we use the pizza oven quite often. My favorite thing about building this oven (besides the food) is the pride you get from the finished product. My only advice is to make sure you rent a cement mixer!
